The ATO is seeking your assistance to improve their private advice system. This includes private rulings and other advice and guidance that you might request from time to time.

The goal is to make the system more contemporary and streamlined, while providing certainty through tailored, useful and timely advice.

A discussion paper has been released to explore your views on the current system, and where you think improvements can be made.

The closing date for comments is Friday, 20 November 2015.

To support the release of the discussion paper, the ATO is also hosting a webinar on the topic to be presented by ATO Deputy Commissioner, Tim Dyce.
