The VIC State Conference on May 18 was a huge success. With over 100 attendees coming together, the conference was a full day of learning and networking.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved with making the conference what it was: the MC on the day – Richard Boyce and each of the speakers on the day as well as all those who took the time to join in and participate.
The day started with a case study of the Mulcahy Family, a fifth generation family, who run the Kyvalley Dairy and now Mulcahy Family Office.
The rest of the presentations continued to work through the three pillars of growth, being:
- Customers – a market leading customer focus
- Transactions – growth through acquisitions, partnerships and alliances
- People – creative talent development, culture and acquisition
We capped off the day with networking, drinks and another chance to catch up and ask extra questions of the day’s presenters.
We have quite a few other events coming up in the following weeks:
Upcoming events in Vic:
June 8: Financial Essentials Workshop
June 20: Family Business Insider – Maton Guitars
July: Forum Information Breakfast
August 1: Family Business Essentials, part of the Small Business Victoria Festival
August 29 – Sept 1: FBA National Conference, Hamilton Island
If you want to register for either of these events please register at our website: www.fambiz.com.au
I hope to see all of you very soon!
