The Small Business Commissioner, John Chapman contacted the office of FBA SA  to provide feedback from the SA Membership regarding their thoughts on the proposed de regulation and as a result I received feedback from a number of members that will form part of the overall “view” of the FBA SA Membership. If you have an opinion to put to the FBA SA Committee regarding the deregulation of shop hours please email me directly fbasa@fambiz.org.au – your opinion  provides additional support to our voice when speaking to Local Government on these important issues.

The SA branch ran a successful Adviser Connect session on October 11. It had been a while since this event had been run and the event was opened up to Family Businesses as the topic was meaningful to all and centred around the ‘take away’s of the FBA / KPMG Survey and what you can and should expect in the forth coming year.  Held in the beautifully appointed KPMG rooms over looking the Adelaide Hills guests were treated to fine wine, fare and discussion around the impact of the state economy on family businesses.
