I’d like to thank everyone that was part of Family Business Australia in 2016 – it is great to see such a strong community in Victoria of those in family business and their advisers and see many of you attend our events and courses.

In November we held elections for the state committee as we move into 2017. I’d like to welcome the committee elect and thank past committee members, especially David Gibbs and Angela Ciliberto as they move on from the committee for their time and contribution.

It is a privilege to work with such a strong committee and their insights into family business are invaluable. I would like to also thank the FBA team across the country for their continued hard work and I look forward to 2017 as the organisation is directed by new CEO Greg Griffith.

Don’t forget to lock the National Conference in your diaries from the 30th August – 1st September, Hamilton Island will certainly be one of the highlights next year! I wish everyone a safe and happy festive season and I will see you all in 2017.
