Hi to all,

Great to see some spring sunshine in Melbourne.  How amazing was the weather at Hamilton Island for the FBA National Conference?  I really enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets.

This was the first conference I’ve attended and I must say it will not be my last.  Some of my favourite sessions were when our family business members shared on stage.  Throughout the conference, it was great to network and share ideas with colleagues. 

It was also great to see some of the initiatives being rolled out by Greg and the team.

As an added bonus, I now have a deeper understanding of looking someone in the eye and hugging strangers as well. 

Well done to Greg and all the FBA team. It was a great event and lots of fun was had by all.

I would like to congratulate all the award winners and give a special mention to Mac Hay, Victorian adviser and forum facilitator, who received the Chairman’s award for his contribution to FBA. 

I enjoyed attending Parliament house with our Victorian inductees to the Victorian Hall of Fame, Luv-a-Duck and Kyvalley Dairy and would like to congratulate them both.  They are very deserving and amazing family businesses.
