Congratulations to the FBA head office staff in their preparation and execution of the FBA National Conference in Hamilton Island. A successful event that was attended by 45 South Australians. There was plenty of networking and it provided a much needed respite from the cold depths of an Adelaide winter. In 2018 the National Conference will be held in Alice Springs with confirmed dates about to be announced. Please check your emails for further information as it becomes available.

August saw the SA Chapter hold their quarterly Family Business Insider event at Detmold on a cold rainy night – we had a great turnout of 20 + people and a really informative presentation by Zoe Detmold and Rob Lunn, Detmold had launched the first “recyclable” coffee cup that day with further information available here https://www.detpak.com/

A reminder that South Australia is holding a Directors Course Tuesday 31^st October and Wednesday the 1^st November.  We have not held a Directors course in South Australia for a number of years and this will be your last opportunity for another 12 months.
