Heading into winter, we have had a busy couple of months at FBA and many more events and education planned.

We’ve had two more of the conversation series sessions which have been very well attended; the KPMG / FBA survey results evening has been launched; the NSW Insights event on 25 May which we had record numbers attend this year and the Emerging Leadership programme also launched in Melbourne with several NSW Next Generation members attending it. It is exciting to feel the momentum here in NSW.

We are seeing our membership in NSW increase quite nicely as a result of FBA rolling out the Australian Owned Family Business  “Emblem Campaign” and an increase in general brand awareness of FBA on social media (Facebook and LinkedIn), which is pushing the Competitive advantage of Family Business.

We have the NSW FBA Women in Family Business Lunch on Tuesday 26th June at Doltone House, Sylvania (an FBA Member) where a great panel of speakers will be present. Unfortunately, I will be working interstate that day and can’t attend but look forward to hearing how it goes.

Make sure you book your place at the National Conference in Alice Springs. It will be September before we know it. Registrations are open and we are seeing a steady stream of members registering. I will be there and will be bringing along my two adult children to understand why I am so passionate about Family Business.  Keep warm and well this winter.

Until next time,

Warm regards
