Professional business advice can be harder to access in the regions than in the cities. Iain founded Upland Consulting to address this problem.
Sometimes known as “the board bloke®”, Iain has been supporting regional businesses since 2011. He makes the best work of the best boards accessible to smaller companies, working on strategy, governance and risk. He has helped family businesses secure external investment, generational succession, trade sale, and strategic refresh. He works with both formal governance boards and advisory boards.
In addition to being an accredited advisor with FBANZ, he is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an associate fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Iain’s tertiary qualifications include business management and computer science.
