FBA Welcomes Queensland State Manager

FBA is pleased to announce the appointment of Jodie Watson as the new Queensland State Manager. Jodie will be responsible for membership growth and retention, driving revenue through forums, events and courses, committee management and sponsorship activity in Queensland.

Jodie comes with over 15 years’ experience working for membership services organisations where networking, shared information, membership benefits and sales strategies were keys to success. She joins FBA from a strong sporting and association background with her previous role of 5 years as the Executive Director for the Water Polo Queensland.

Prior to her role with Water Polo Queensland she held roles at Bicycle Queensland, Australian University Sport and Optima Sports Medicine. Her responsibilities included, leadership of staff and volunteers, event management, budget control, customer service, member recruitment and retention, committee liaison, sponsorship and stakeholder engagement.

Growing up with a father who ran his own business, Jodie understands firsthand how important an association such as FBA is to small family businesses (let alone large established organisations).

Jodie is eager to be part of a professional organisation whose progressive thinking allows for change to focus on long term strategic goals whist achieving immediate and short term success. We look forward to Jodie joining FBA as the organisation embarks on a new journey led by new CEO Greg Griffith.

Jodie will commence with FBA on Monday 5th December 2016 and if you wish to contact Jodie after her commencement please contact jwatson@fambiz.org.au or 0439782549
