Jane O’Reilly
O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat

Jane is a member of the third generation of O’Reilly Family that has owned and operated O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat in the Gold Coast Hinterland since 1926. While completing a Bachelor of Business at Griffith University she spent four years away from O’Reilly’s.  During this time she worked for another family on the Gold Coast, which allowed her to experience the interactions of a family within a family business, from a totally different perspective.

Jane’s passion not only lies in working within her family’s business, but also in ensuring that the extended O’Reilly family is engaged with the business; in particular members of the fourth generation who have not grown up on the mountain. She thoroughly enjoys being a part of Family Business Australia and draws on the lessons learned from members of other family operated businesses to benefit the O’Reilly family.
