It is hard to believe we are in November already, where has the year gone?  We are in the countdown to our final events for 2015 and busy planning a great line-up of learning and networking for our family business community next year. Throughout the year I receive many calls from family business leaders looking for advice and support on various topics.  For some it is personal support they are seeking, the need to connect with other like minded business owners, this is an easy one for me to provide an answer to. Our FBA Forum Groups exist for such a purpose and on joining the groups members have access to both business and personal support.  It is the harder questions such as how to start succession planning, how to manage conflict with family members, when to form a board, advice on legal, financial or taxation issues that can be a source of frustration.  But finding someone that understand them, their family and has the technical knowledge to help doesn’t have to be difficult.  This is where our great network of Family Business Advisers is invaluable.
